For Customers

To create an account:
 
Step 1: Click here or on the profile icon
Step 2: At the top of the page, make sure that the “Register” tab is selected.
Step 3: Select your role as “Customer”.
Step 4: Fill out your First Name and Email.
Step 5: Make sure to read our policies and once done, click Sign Up.

Alternatively, Google Sign-In is also available.

You will be redirected to the home page. To access your dashboard, click on your profile icon which now displays your username.
 
You will receive a confirmation email containing your automatically generated password.

Having a customer account will allow you to:

  • Direct message hairstylists
  • Save your favourite looks
  • Follow hairstylists – You will be notified of special updates or offers from those you follow

To reset your password:
 
Step 1: Click here or on the profile icon
Step 2: At the top of the page, make sure that the “Sign In” tab is highlighted
Step 3: Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on “Forgotten my password”
Step 4: Enter your registered email/username and click “Reset Password”
 
A password reset email will be sent to your registered email. This may take several minutes to appear in your inbox. 
 
Follow email instructions to complete the process.

There are 5 ways you can connect with a Hairstylist:

  1. Direct Message – Allows you to chat with your hairstylist right from our platform. Make sure you are logged into your account and head over to the Hairstylist profile to start chatting!
 

2. Virtual Consultation Form (Quote My Hair) – This is the best way if you would like to send photos. You can answer a short series of questions about your current hair and what you’d like to achieve. Your responses will be sent to the hairstylist and used to provide an estimate for your desired look. (No account required)

Some hairstylist may choose to activate other contact methods such as:

  1. Email
  2. Phone
  3. SMS

Please check on each hairstylist’s profile for available contact options.

To send photos to your hairstylist, use the Consultation Form (Quote My Hair) feature located on the top banner of the hairstylist profile.
 
Currently, there isn’t a way to upload images via Direct Messaging. We are working to have this feature added in the near future!

Virtual Consultation is a short series of questions about your current hair and what you’d like to achieve. Your responses will be sent to the hairstylist to provide an estimate for your desired look.

How long until I receive my quote?

Quoting times will vary depending on each hairstylist. On average you should receive an estimated quote for your hair within 3 business days.

Is my quote a fixed price?

No, quotes are indicative.

How do I secure my booking if I’m happy with my quote?

If you’re happy with your quote, you can choose to book directly with the hairdresser via their preferred contact method.

What if I would like to get a quote from multiple hairdressers?

We are working on a bulk messaging feature where forms can be sent to multiple hairstylists at once. Currently, you will need to send forms to each hairstylist individually.

 

Following a salon or hairstylist is a great way to keep up-to-date with their updates and offerings. If the salon you are following has a new booking opening or discount you will be notified via email!

To follow:

Step 1: Login to your account

Step 2: Head to your desired hairstylist and click on “Follow” on the top banner

To view your follows:

Step 1: Log into your account

Step 2: You can view your follows in the your dashboard under “Following”

Last Minute Offers can be a variety of special discounts, last minute openings or updates which are posted by salons/hairstylists that can be claimed by customers.

To view: Head to the “Explore” and select the “Last Minute Offer” Tab. You will be able to view offers via Map or List view.

To claim: See offer for details 

Step 1: Login to your account

Step 2: Access “Account Details” from the profile drop down menu or via your Dashboard

Step 3: Under Account Type, select “Switch to…”

For Hairstylists

We accept all qualified hairstylists Australia-wide. You can opt to list as a salon, freelancer or an employee of a salon.

Customers can book with you via your activated method(s):

  • Online Booking – You can  display your booking calendar on your profile. Click here to find out more.
  • Direct Message
  • Phone (SMS or Call)
  • Virtual Consultation (Quote My Hair). Click here to find out more.

To update your profile:

Step 1: Login to your account

Step 2: Click on the profile icon on the top right-hand corner and select “My Listings”

Step 3: Click “Edit” on listing

Step 4: Update your profile details and click “Submit” at bottom of the page

If you do not wish to show your exact address on the site, we suggest using a random street number with your suburb.

It is important that you list an address as this enables your business to be visible on our Explore page and where customers are looking for you.

The most common reason for images not showing up in the Look Book is that the image/s are missing tags.

Images are required to have at least 1 tag to be featured on the Look Book. This allows your work to be categorised and seen by the right customers. 

To tag:

Step 1: Login to your account

Step 2: Check your notifications by clicking on the bell icon located on the top right-hand corner. If you have images with missing tags they should be accessible here.

Alternatively, click on your profile icon and select “My Listings” from the drop down menu.

Step 3: Click “Edit” on the listing that the images are attached to

Step 4: Scroll down to the Image section under Portfolio and you should find the “Tag Image” button.

Step 5: You can tag your images via Hair Colour, Length, Style and Other. Your images will save automatically once you click “Close”, “Next” or “Back”

Correctly tagging your images is very important as this allows your work to be seen by the right customers. 

To tag:

Step 1: Login to your account

Step 2: Check your notifications by clicking on the bell icon located on the top right-hand corner. If you have images with missing tags they should be accessible here.

Alternatively, click on your profile icon and select “My Listings” from the drop down menu.

Step 3: Click “Edit” on the listing that the images are attached to

Step 4: Scroll down to the Image section under Portfolio and click “Tag Image” button.

Step 5: You can tag your images using the tags under Hair Colour, Length, Style and Other. Your images will save automatically once you click “Close”, “Next” or “Back”

The Virtual Consultation is a form with a short series of questions about a client’s hair and what they’d like to achieve. This feature is designed to streamline the booking process. For more information see our Virtual Consultation page.

This feature is available for all profiles and can be accessed by customers via the top banner of your profile.

Last Minute Offers are a great way to fill seats and increase your earnings.

You can post unlimited Last Minute Listings with all profiles.

To create a Last Minute Offer:

Step 1: Login to your account

Step 2: On the main menu select “For Hairdressers”

Step 3: From the drop down menu, select “Add Last Minute Offer”

Step 4: Choose a package

Step 5: Fill out your listing details:

  • An engaging and informative name e.g. 20% OFF blow wave and cut tomorrow at 11am! 
  • Details of booking and how to redeem 
  • Date and time of availability
  • Indicative price (optional)
  • Location of salon

Once submitted, your offer will be listed on our Explore page.

Customers can redeem the offer by contacting you through your preferred methods e.g. Direct Message, Email, Phone or SMS.

Your offer will expire once the booking date and time has past. Alternatively, you can delete the offer via your dashboard.

Get in touch with us here to deactivate your contact methods.

Your profile will still be visible to the public and all other functions such as “follow” are still active for use.

To cancel your subscription:

Step 1: Login to your account

Step 2: Access “Subscriptions” from the profile drop down menu on the top right-hand corner or via your Dashboard

Step 3: Click “Cancel” on the subscription you would like to cancel

If you would like to continue your subscription in future, you can follow the above steps to “reactivate” your listing.

To reactivate your subscription:

Step 1: Login to your account

Step 2: Access “Subscriptions” from the profile drop down menu on the top right-hand corner or via your Dashboard

Step 3: Click “Reactivate” on the subscription

Step 4: Enter payment details to complete reactivation

 

Get in touch with us here and we will temporarily deactivate/reactivate your profile for you.

By doing so, you will be able to archive all the info on your profile until you need it again

To delete your profile:

Step 1: Log in to your account

Step 2: Access “My Listings” from the profile icon drop down menu or via your Dashboard

Step 3: Click “Delete” on the listing you would like to delete.

Please note: This is action cannot be reversed

To upgrade your profile to Premium or Ultimate plan:

Step 1: Log in to your account

Step 2: Access “My Listings” from the profile drop down menu or via your Dashboard

Step 3: Click “Switch Plans” on the listing

Step 4: Select the plan you would like to switch to

Step 5: Enter in your payment details to complete the upgrade

Step 1: Log in to your account

Step 2: Access “Account Details” from the profile drop down menu or via your Dashboard

Step 3: Under Account Type, select “Switch to…”
